When you get to Nuevo Laredo
Nuevo Laredo sits on the south bank of the Rio Grande opposite Laredo, Texas. It traces its roots to the 1755 settlement of San Agustín de Laredo; after the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo split the town in 1848, families who chose to stay in Mexico founded the new city on June 15 of that year.
