Museum of the Big Bend

Cuatro Ciénegas, a Pueblo Mágico about 80 km (50 miles) from Monclova, lies in a desert valley of central Coahuila some 740 meters above sea level. Around 500 springs feed clear pools, streams and lagoons, and white gypsum dunes rise nearby. Isolation has let plants and animals evolve here that live nowhere else, and the valley is on Mexico's tentative list for World Heritage.
