Cuatro Ciénegas, a Pueblo Mágico about 80 km (50 miles) from Monclova, lies in a desert valley of central Coahuila some 740 meters above sea level. Around 500 springs feed clear pools, streams and lagoons, and white gypsum dunes rise nearby.
