Yuha Desert
South of Interstate 8 and west of El Centro, this Sonoran Desert basin holds Yuha Well, the favored water stop of the Anza expeditions of 1774–76. A State Historic Landmark plaque at the eastbound Sunbeam rest area on I-8 near Seeley tells the story.

Tubac Presidio State Historic Park
