Cell service is intermittent from Fallon, NV, to just outside Ely. Download offline maps. Gas prices in Nevada are typically 10-20 cents higher than in California or Utah.

Road quality is generally good, but watch for wildlife on US-6, especially deer and elk at dawn/dusk.
