Art Museum of South Texas
On the edge of Corpus Christi Bay, this art museum pairs Philip Johnson's white concrete building from 1972 with a 2006 wing by Ricardo Legorreta topped by 13 rooftop pyramids.
Corpus Christi Cathedral
Dedicated in 1940 on the bluff overlooking Corpus Christi Bay, this Spanish and Mission style cathedral has twin towers with glazed terra cotta domes and a red clay tile roof. Its three bells came from the city's original St. Patrick's Church.
Lake Casa Blanca International State Park
Set on a 1,680-acre reservoir in Laredo, minutes from the Mexican border, the park draws anglers after bass, crappie and catfish, along with swimmers, boaters and water-skiers. Trails, picnic areas and shoreline campsites fill the land side.
Cathedral of San Agustin
