Qujing to Bac Ninh: Road Trip Guide

Route Overview

Leaving Qujing, the route climbs through Yunnan's karst hills, dotted with terraced fields. Near Hekou, the landscape transitions into tropical rainforest along the Red River Valley. In Vietnam, QL70 winds past rice paddies and tea plantations before joining the flat delta.

A detour to the Sa Pa terraces (60 miles from Lao Cai) offers a World Heritage site with breathtaking rice terraces and highland markets where Hmong and Dao communities sell textiles. This is one of the best stops Qujing to Bac Ninh if you want to experience the region's cultural diversity.
