Qingdao, a coastal city known for its German-era architecture and Tsingtao Brewery, is the gateway to a 620-kilometer drive southwest to Changzhou, a hub on the Grand Canal. The route connects the Shandong Peninsula to the Yangtze Delta, passing through Jiangsu's industrial and agricultural heartland.
