The drive from Guerneville, California to Jackpot, Nevada covers about 550 miles, crossing the Coast Ranges, the Sacramento Valley, the Sierra Nevada foothills, and the high desert of Nevada. Fuel prices drop significantly in Nevada; plan to fill up in Reno before the final leg. Road surfaces are well-maintained on interstates, but US-95 in Nevada is two-lane with passing lanes.
