This 750-mile drive follows US-89, I-70, I-76, and US-385, crossing three states. The estimated driving time is 11–12 hours, but plan for two days to fully appreciate the landscapes.

Key milestone: Milepost 91 on I-70 in Colorado marks the Glenwood Canyon stretch, where the highway threads between cliffs and the Colorado River.

The route travels through three distinct geologic provinces: Colorado Plateau (Utah), Rocky Mountains (Colorado), and Great Plains (Nebraska). Each offers unique attractions.
