Wyoming highways are straight but often two-lane, with high speeds and occasional livestock crossings. Keep a lookout for pronghorn and cattle, especially near dawn and dusk. The wind in the Shirley Basin can be severe; reduce speed below 60 mph when gusts exceed 40 mph.
