Hoover Dam
Completed in 1936, this concrete arch-gravity dam rises more than 726 feet in Black Canyon on the Arizona–Nevada line. Guided dam and power plant tours lead through tunnels, and the visitor center's observation deck overlooks the Colorado River and Lake Mead.
